The Tar Heels are the University Of North Carolina's athletic teams. They are a Division I school who plays in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The centuries old school boasts many impressive and successful teams: wrestling, field hockey, baseball, softball, cross country, and, of course, basketball. The Tar Heels men's basketball team has won six national championships and were home to Michael Jordan, the best basketball player of all time.
